Default Can't get Clear Coat Glossy

So I ordered a kit from paintscratch.com. it was the primer, base, clear, and rubbing compound

i followed their directions and buffed the clear with a buffer and this is the end result

idk what to do at this point. that was 5 coats of base and 4 coats of clear. should i wet sand it then try to buff it again?

How did you spray it; was it a spray-can or did you mix and spray it from a gun?

what are the steps you did after you finished spraying the clear to get like this??
how long did you let it sit before you started to sand and buff?

after i finished the clear i waited 4 days, then i started out with a new clean foam pad (like the ones that come with wax) and the rubbing compound they sent and tried to buff it by hand. that got me know where, so i borrowed a buffer with a foam pad and using their compound again at about 2400rpms went over it again. i just cant tell if i need to be more aggressive? the compound said for use with a wool pad

You will need to wet sand, get 1500, 2000 grit sand paper, make sure to use plenty of water. Then go to your buffer, Only problem with clear coat from a can is most times its a 1 part clear and they usally fail pretty quick. Also it has a ton of texture so you sprayed it on to dry.

1500-2000/2500 and then buff/polish it.

Make sure you use quality paper, 3m, meguiars, etc and a backing pad. Use plenty of water and clean the paper off from time to time...

You want to hold the can 6-8 inches from the panal, and want it wet. but you need to move so you dont cause runs.
