as the title says, what's the freaking point of stealing an ITR gas cap!?!

Has it ever happened to you? did I miss something?

(besides the part that was stolen, before someone makes a funny joke lol)

It was stolen when I had to go inside to pay since the automated payment at the pump . I left the trap opened and gas cap on the top of the fuel pump, I went inside to pre-pay and got back, just to find out that my gas cap was missing...and asking myself wtf? could I have forget it last time around...

So I asked the other person that was with me if it was me going crazy or what since I didn't pay much attention to what I was doing prior to going in as we were talking and stuff and he confirmed that I saw me put the cap on top of the pump before we both went inside to pay and buy some other stuff.
I checked under the car, everywhere around and it was nowhere to be found.
I went inside to see the manager who pulled out the images and we see some random &?$#?!!! stupid chit guy looking around and leave with my gas cap!!!

As far as I know, no VIN on the gas cap...so besides replacing a lost or failed gas cap, it's just useless and downright stupid for what it's worth.

I got an OEM replacement today at the dealer for 19$ tax in.

What now, the guy is gonna brag the he stole an ITR gas cap!?!makes no sense to me, it's the same part for about any other Honda and Acura from those years...

hehehe not that I saw.

Saw 2 guys in a car coming around just to look at the car about 5 min after, but even after all theses years it still happens every time I take the car out for a ride, so unless I'm being followed or someone's acting suspiscious around the car, I don't bother too much, otherwise I'd wanna kill someone every damn day! (that could be a whole other topic just by itself) but no it wasn't them on the vids and from inside I wasn't able to see the back of my car.

 

It fell on the ground on the other side of the pump. I tried to catch you before you left, but it was too late.
