how to clean battery terminals ??
i did a search already but didnt come up with anything
my battery terminals have that powder stuff on it now and i was just wondering how to clean it
i heard pouring a can of coke can bubble away the acids, is this true ??
any suggestions will be appreciated

yes this is true. after you do that wipe away the excess w/ a old rag , the corrosion may eat the rag some. also it would be good to get a post and terminal cleaner which is basically a wire brush that you can put over the post and turn. you want a good shiny contact area on the post and the terminal.

should i just remove the terminal and pour a little coke on it or should i take the whole battery out and do it ??
is there anything i can do to prevent it from comming back ??
grab a squirt bottle and fill it with water. add some baking soda and shake. squirt on the terminals. let the stuff do it's work and then rinse off the crap with regular water. done
just pour it straight out of the can on there, not alot of course. you just need to nuetralize the acid w/a base so you can wipe it off in a non corrosive state the baking soda works perfect also. don't take the battery out. i'm not sure how to stop it ? i just periodically clean mine when i'm working on the car.
