Icon6 f20b5 distributor ignition

hi

I want to know to break the distributor ignition of f20b5 engine into pieces. If you have a video or instruction I would be very happy.

Thanks. Honda accord 2001 build in japan...if it matters.

I asked http://www.youtube.com/user/Bushougoma for an answer to my question. He told me:

That pin is in interference fit you'll need a flat punch just the right size to fit over the pin but not bind up in the hole and a big hammer to drive it out.

Start with a standard ball peen and go up to a 3 lb mini sledge if it's being stubborn.

Just be sure to support the end of shaft with a piece of wood while striking to protect the bearings.

I'll tell you if it works
