Icon5 Question about Type S value

I've got a 2002 Type S that has about 100,000 miles on it. It is nearly perfect inside and out, never modified, and adult driven. Leather, 6 Speed, Bose, Moonroof, etc. It's been in storage for the last 3 years while I've been living in Hawaii (Aloha!), but upon my triumphant return to Ohio, I've found that the ping I heard before I left is now a spun bearing. Fun. I was thinking of fixing it and then selling, but I'm wondering what you all would price the car at to sell with the spun bearing? (Mind you, the car does run, but I refuse to drive it. It's currently at the mechanic's after being diagnosed.)

I've got everything for this car, including the original window sticker, etc. Clear title, yadda yadda. In other words, what would you all be comfortable paying for one?

Pic related, It's the car after being removed from storage in May.

TL;DR- What's this car worth, immaculate inside and out, no mods, no nothing, but with a spun bearing?

Hmm... That's interesting. Around here (Ohio) I see the Type S going for 7500 in running shape.

I'm thinking of pricing it at 4kobo for now while it's getting repaired.

well in excellent condition blue book is 7700. but blue book is a joke when it comes to tuners / ricers.

they sell around 6 here.

if your car really really is clean put 4500 obo. since they could swap in an engine for 3k easily, and still have only paid what it's worth.

Great advice! Pretty much what I'm thinking of doing.

I can remember my old EF "buy low-sell high" days! About a decade ago I used to buy CRX shells for $600-800, sort through classified sections for B18Bs B16s, B17s, and B18s to stuff into them, and then I'd sell them for $3500. I'd end up making between 1500 and 2000 per car, and I'd do one or two per month. Now a good CRX shell... well... let's just say that 'hobby' doesn't exist anymore.

Hahaha! I'll sell it to you with a case of the finest Ohio Craft brew installed in place of a K20.

With that said... Car is for sale now, thanks to this thread!
