1999 honda civic 1.6 wont go up hill lacking power

1999 honda civic 1.6 wont go up hill lacking power
Hi Friends
My 1999 V Reg Honda civic 1.6 wont go up hill ,lacking power even if i put in first gear it struggles, so took it to a garage they said clutch gone, so they put a new clutch after that you touch the gas my car fliy ,after 3 to 4 months the same problem again lacking power in main road also when u give gas and uphill but not that bad like before still drives ,mechanic says spark plugs he changed it then still problem now he took it back to the garage but under investigation can any of you guys help me here what is causing this problem camshaft ,sensor any other things please help me crying out loud this is a very nice car and i dont want to llose this.
