Like the description says my car is pinging just swapped the engine from f22b1 to h22a and everything is great except its throwing a knock sensor code and thats due to pinging. im running straight 93 octane gas and just did ignition timing and the code 23 keeps popping up after about 5 min of driveing down the road, it can idle all day on not pop up. so where should i start?? could this be egr related?? has anybody experienced this just curious?

 

I've never even heard of a knock sensor code being thrown if not for an open in the wiring or the connector is broken. Start there.

What ecu are you using ? Did you use shielded wire for the knock sensor wiring ? Is the knock sensor new ?

 

The wiring should be correct right before i put the engine in the car we had to hook the wireing harness up to it, and im running a P0F which is the Accord SiR ecm and the wireing is shielded and its not new.. so could be bad ill check it

 

check the pins to ...the pof i believe has diff pins than jdm and usdm...also u swapped pins a6 and a11
