Default 99-00 conversions to 96 dx hatch clarifications.

Hey ht!
Just have a few questions about converting the interior of my 96 dx hatch. Obviously i mean to the 99-00 ex/si interior. Upon all my research i have come across a few questions.
1. I will be getting a full 99-00 power door conversion here in a few days, yes i kno its not gonna work without major modification. Now ive read a few threads/articles saying that if you do the 99-00 complete dash swap it will all plug right in minus the rear window stuff (already have guide printed off to fix that). My question is in theory is that correct? All the guides/articles are vague and foggy.
2. Will it matter if it is si or ex dash conversion? I believe ex came with mostly the same options as an si except obviously a cooler gauge cluster and a much better motor but i have been wrong in the past
3. So far i have gathered that im going to need dash (mine needs replaced) climate control assembly (including harnesses), blowers, dash harness, engine harness for obd2b, and obd2b ecu (gonna keep the d). Is there anything else for this to work as intended?

I know many will say cheaper to get a 99-00 hatch and start from there, thats not an option as i have ha this car for a very long time, so im willing to throw the money at it slowly but surely. Not a dd btw. Lol well anyways just wanted to ask the powers that be here at HT before i went ahead with this project
that i dont know will even work any and all info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

you're gonna have to get the gas tank too if you're going the full route, otherwise you'll have a check engine light for fuel tank pressure.

why not just keep everything obd2a? you're just creating a mess for yourself by trying to go 99-00 wiring.

Because with the power door conversion i would like the keyless entry, i am however sure there is another way to acquire this, but right now im incredibly way too tired after working 14 hrs thru the night to look any up :S just wanted to explore all my options up to and including the full obd2b conversion.

What exactly are you trying to do? 99-00 dashboard & power windows/locks doors conversion?
The rest of the interior is not what you're after, right?

If that's your concern, then that should be simple.

keyless entry is in the radio on 96-98 models. why not just get an alarm? two birds with one stone. keyless and added security.
