96-98 2 door EK OEM power window conversion/install
First off if youre afraid of tools or doing things the right way then you need not continue. This is a fairly big undertaking.
You WILL need::
96-2000 power window regulators
96-98 drivers and passengers door harnesses from EX coupe
96-98 floor harness from an EX coupe
96-2000 window switches
96-2000 EX interior door panels (or modify your stock ones somehow)
power window realy (honda part number Ill update later)
3 20amp fuses
and lastly an *** load of patience. A helping hand will make things go a little quicker. By myself and fairly good at this kind of stuff still took about 7 to 8 hours of my sunday. Also lots of parts and panels will be removed so have room.
This is a 100% oem install so no expence (time or money) was spared on this install. Does this mean you have to do your install this way? No.. but this is how Honda would do it... The right way.
Without further adue

EDIT: we've been having server problems so its been up and down. If its not up when you try try again later.
EDIT: updated rear wiper information for anyone else swapping into a hatch.

you need to get the floor harness and replace it so that you have the right connections to connect the door harnesses. Did you look at the how to yet?

You can look up part numbers here: http://www.slhondaparts.com
However, I don't know how to get the Honda code, but I don't think it is very important. Someone elighten us.
By the way, awesome how to. It is about time someone documented this entire process. Thanks, Monicle!

One problem found the yesterday. On the hatch after the conversion the rear wiper isnt working. This is because coupes dont have a rear wiper. Im going to rob the wiring and pins from the old harness and install them into the coupe floor harness. It will be documented on the how to in the very near future. Ill post when it has been finished.

Re: 96-98 2 door OEM power window conversion/install (Petah)
all you need is the locks from an ex and they bolt right in and you hasy have to connect the electrical connectors. Ill get arround to buying locks and putting them in. Ive just been working on other projects lately.
