AC + Pwr steering in EJ1 b18c swap..HELP!
i have a 94 EJ1 with a b18c in it and was wondering if it would be better to take the power steering out due to the fact that I CANNOT FIND a damn p54 del sol bracket for the AC -_-. The car does not have power steering on at the moment but I was planning on putting it back on since it has all the lines and rack+pinion for it. Should I get a new rack and pinion and use a crv bracket for the compressor?! or are the other brackets that would work and allow me to put power steering back in? I also need AC parts if anyone knows of any
Several options.. If you have a b-series compressor and bracket have the ac lines modified. On my 96 hatch I am using a 92 integra compressor and bracket. I went to a junk yard and cut the suction and discharge hose ends going into the compressor off of the hoses, then took my original 96 civic hoses ( both suction and discharge ) to an AC repair shop and had them remake the hoses using civic ends on one side Integra ends on the other side going into the compressor.
Or option 2, just order a crv or del sol vtec bracket and reuse the original civic compressor and lines.
I didn't want to wait for the bracket to be orderd and I already had the integra compressor and bracket, so I used what I had. I spent $70 rebuilding the lines and that included new hose.

Yeah ordering the p54 bracket from the dealership will cost me $230 -_- I need to figure this out because its getting so darn hot outside. Maybe I'll try to find a non stripped Honda at a junk yard around here (very hard to find). Thanks for the input
...ok wait up. Will a P7J bracket also work!? I know they both do but I want to put Pwr steering in the EG. Will this bracket from the CRV (much easier to find) allow me to have it!?
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance
woah, never knew...sorry I'm a newb
I think thats what I will do! I need the pulley also though right?! also..I have a power steering pump from a gsr with a lower bracket only. Do I need an upper bracket?! and will the pump work with the civic lines and rack?!
Thanks a lot

I'm back to dealing with this -_- the boots on the rack and pinion on my car are all messed up so I think I am going to need to change the whole thing. Which rack and pinion do I need to buy? a 94 ej1 or a 94 gsr? I might as well install the power steering back in the car but I am unsure of the parts I really need.
