help. Want to convert h patten to streight shift not whole conversion just pattern
Hi I was just woundering if anyone knows of a company that converts a reg h pattern shifter to a squintial. Just the pattern. I still wanna use my clutch and don't want to change my gears to streat cut ggears. Just basically want a new shifter that converts a h pattern to straight pattern. not a whole huge cut with cables ad new gears and everything. Even if some one know of how to convert it ureself. Thakyou so much[/B]
It got to be possible. If you know hot rods or muschel cars. Im basically looking for the same thing as a ratchet shifter. Maybe someone out there knows how to modify a ratchet shifter to be used on a honda
What you're wanting to do is not possible since you don't want to use cables.
What is the reason you're wanting to do this? It won't allow you to shift any faster than a standard shifter.

This company used to make the setup you are talking about, pretty sure they at one point had a setup for the rod style shifter as well. It was a couple grand.

Totally pointless modification anyway. What you are thinking about on muscle cars and hot rods is for automatic transmissions anyway.

They never had one for a rod shifter, as i said it's not possible within his parameters.
It's cool. I just thought I remembered them listing a setup for a dc(x) Integra way back when that came out, it was probably a 5. It makes sense, I'm not sure how that box would have pulled it off with a rod linkage.
