Default EF3 power window problem

Hey guys, just bought an EF3 today it runs good but has a few cosmetic issues and small problems. One of which is the rear windows don't go up or down. I know enough about power window systems to get by and understand the basic troubleshooting but im stuck. the main switch will work the driver side front window only(with main on or off) the passenger side window works fine with its respective switch. neither of the rear windows work on the main or on their respective switches. no noise from the motor so its gotta be electrical. the guy i bought it from said he was certain it was the main switch that is the problem. makes sense but wouldnt the seperate rear switches still work the windows? or do they draw their power after the main? i dont have a wiring diagram so i cant get past this. Do I need a main switch or a main switch and two rear switches or am I just completely wrong? Oh and when i was playing around with the windows earlier i got the rear driver window to go down but then after halfway down i realized it wouldnt go back up >.< ended up having to take the glass off the track and tape it up. now my car looks really ghetto. please help! thanks!

if the main switch goes out on one window neither switch, main nor respective, will work. i had a kia with this problem and i popped open the case cleaned the contacts with a wire brush and itd work fine.

also check inside the wiring harness that goes from the cabin to the drivers door.i always have problems with my wires breaking in there causing loss of certain windows and power mirrors

wires look fine. i cleaned the contacts and still got nothing. i inspected the main switch and nothing looks wrong. didnt open it up though. i also tried direct power to the rear driver window and go nothing. does that mean the motor is bad?
