Default d16y7/sohc MPG Let's discuss

so i am trying to decide whether to part with my 94 h22 civic hb. In turn i currently own a 96 dx hatch, a 97 dx hatch, and a s14 240 and a few more but i will try to stay on topic...

That being said, while i am doing my turbo build/and swap in the s14 i will be driving around in one of the EJ6 hatchbacks, both have d16y7 ()

so What kind of MPG do you folks get with your sohc?

I have heard 30-34mpg...is it rumor or truth?

This^ sounds about right, if you have a manual transmission.

I am only averaging 23-26mpg with mine, I have a 98 Sedan DX 5spd. I know that my clutch is going out, but since I fixed my emissions it has gotten better. I only dream of getting 35mpg.

OP - your gas mileage expectations are fine.

If you have a specific technical question about gas mileage, then create a new thread.
