Cobalt customers have used the Ferodo DS3000 with great success in the East Coast Honda Challenge, as well as in Speedvision Touring Class. The Ferodo DS3000 is fade free to above 1000F, has a very high coefficient of friciton of 0.62mu, and exhibits a virtually _flat_ torque curve.

Ferodo DS3000 is what I use on my prelude racecar, with great success (Honda Challenge H2 Champoinship).. I have used blues/R4/XP/P+ pads in the past, and have found the DS3000 to have the best of braking AND wear.. If you track your S2k/RSX, DS3000 is a great choice..

The Ferodo DS2500 compound is also available for high-performance street and solo-2 auto-x applications. The Ferodo DS2500 exihibits a flat braking torque curve like the DS3000, but at a lower coefficient of friction. Further, the temperature requirements of the Ferodo DS2500 are lower, making it an excellent choice for a high-performance street and auto-x compound; many Cobalt customers have also use the DS2500 as moderate-duty track pad on high-performance street tires, with excellent results. There were a couple RSX-S guys at summit point, that used the DS3000, maybe they can chime in...

The DS3000 were nothing short of amazing. I've been using Carbotech Panther Plus all year, which is still a great pad for track, but the DS3000 was truly unbelievable. I could not get the ***** together to brake late enough for these pads' capabilities. No matter how late I was brave enough to brake, I was still decelerating more than I expected, with no ill effects, such as fading or noticeable rotor wear. I run Motul 600 fluid, and run on stock rotors with no ducting - dust shields are still in place.

Friggin amazing! He took me out, and we headed into turn 1 for the first time full throttle. I was watching the brake markers shooting past, and I'm thinking, "Oh great, we've been on the track for 10 seconds and we're going off!" At the LAST marker he just stood the car on it's nose. I was absolutely amazed with those pads. I even commented to him on how great the brakes were before I knew he was running them. I'm about to order a set for my new H1 car....
