awd setup on civic???? need help
hey wats up HT i am planning on doing a awd setup on a ek coupe does anyone know whats the easiest way to make the car awd crv suspension? eg9 rtsi sespension? ef wagon? lmk and any links or extra info would be great thanks
there are plenty on write up on this, with a lot of good info. CRV would be the easiest, but it's a long project, with a lot of custom modification.
If you don't have a lot of skills with metal, welding and the such, I wouldn't attempted it.
All-in all, I'd love to see the build progress.

the swap it self is honestly easy as hell... people make a huge deal out of it...
here is a thread that shows you how to do the trailing arms... he went way the hell overboard with mounting the pumpkin but the trailing arms are the hardest part and there easy... we've done 3 now... suggestion... use the CRV tranny from a 99-01 ONLY THESE YEARS the difference in gearing is only .0009, which you can either shave 1/32 off your rear tires or just leave it be nothing big here don't over think this part... use the pumpkin of a wagovan from 87+... use the drive line from said wagovan... machine an adapter to marry the CRV tranny to the Wago driveline... needs to be 1 5/8'' thick... mount the pumpkin directly in the middle of the car... use two passenger side wago axles... DONE...

oh and you asked how to get the suspension in??? Exact same damn way it goes in now... you will be using the stock ek mounts and modified ek trailing arms and LCA's... so it mounts all the same... don't make this EASY as hell swap harder then it is...

Here's a simpler way of doing the arms and mounting the pumpkin... he explains on the first page toward the bottom how he did the arms... then shows you on the second page...
We can pump one out in 3 days if we have all the parts in front of us... Once again this is not hard... do you need to know how to weld??? yes... and weld well... do you need to measure 50000 times yes... is any of it hard... well that depends on you I guess...
