I let my brother drive my car for a week and the clutch peddle has always let off at the top hydrolic clutch so that doesn't really matter. When I take off and sometimes shift from first to second gear my clutch isn't slipping but it feels like it is sorta shimming as you are letting back off the clutch. Has anyone ran into something similar to this before or do I need to replace my clutch?

 

Adjust the clutch pedal height to spec and then go from there.

 

The clutch pedal lets off the same place it always has its just where he drove it and the way the clutch drags that has me concerned.

 

You need to consider that your clutch pedal height was never adjusted correctly.

Ok good point. How do I go about adjusting it? I guess chattering is a good way to put it. The clutch is not slipping and the peddle feels the same it always has.
