I had my b7 swapped out for a b8 & now my car wont go into closed loop im running the right ecu for the b8 its the p05 but im using the stock b7 engine harness i know the b7 runs a 4 wire o2 and had the auto shop that did my swap wire in a 1 wire o2 but they just cut 1 of the wires off of the plug for the 4 wire on the harness side & wired the 1 wire o2 into that he said that would be fine but still wont pass emissions and stays in open loop. Is ther any way to fix this cheep like wireing the o2 strait to the ecu ??? Thank you for any info...

 

Why would waste your time swapping out a DX motor for a CX? WTF people.

 

The reason was my b7 craped out on me and the b8 was free from my cousin & i didnt have the $$$ to go buy a b7... Anyway i still do need to fix this help please.

 

1wire? Shouldn't it be a 4 wire? Except one model has a 5 wire

 

The b8 ran a 1 wire o2 and the b7 ran a 4 wire but i have the b8 with the right ecu instead of the b7 ecu but i still have the harness for the b7 being used as i explained in my first post...
