OK i am wondering if the BYS spoilers for EG will have a great affect on performance in the 1/4 mile drag racing or just acceleration/downforce drag.
Ive always wondered what or how much seconds will you loose when you use the BYS spoiler on the EG hatch??? lol.....

If someone would clock their EG without a BYS spoiler with a regular duckbill.

and clock the EG with a Big rear BYS spoiler.

How much difference in time will the BYS SPOILER Take off affecting performance. im hella curious it looks good just for looks but how exactly how much in performance will it affect LMFAO...

That wing sticks straight up in the air... This looks like it would actually create resistance. It looks like the flaps on a plane they use to slow down when they hit the runway.

I highly doubt there is anyone in the drag racing section with one of these on their car.

its all for looks. its a wind sail. so when you look at aerodynamics nobody is making a flat surface. ive never seen a track car with that nonsense

 

You really believe by adding a bys spoiler....that you will loose SECONDS off the 1/4 mile time.... wow

 

You run the risk of loosing hella seconds.

 

I ran a 10.37 without it then with it on was at 16.48

 

Now I'm wondering how many seconds I lost when I put on my oem mud guards....hella resistance with those

 

If you like the looks of the wing and need the downforce for roadracing, then run it.

If you're serious about dragging, and don't have the time and $ to develop with a wind tunnel, then take a que from the serious drag guys and run a wing like they do...

 

I did this experiment and my car lost all its 1/4 mile performance. After close diagnosis via the standalone management, my car appeared to be embarrassed as to how ugly it felt and wouldn't dare start up and make a pass until it was removed...

 

just need two bottles of nos....the big ones....then your fine

wasn't there someone on here talking about picking up 2 mph trap going from a duckbill to ccc racing wing? lol

 

ive seen lots of people improve back to back just removing the duckbill. they didnt have a ccc though.

 

It really depends upon how many stickers you put on with the wing.

 

i bet on a slow car it might lose like .1 second or something very minimal. def.
