my axle boot blew up on the dyno and I think I should use this opportunity to upgrade both axles to something stronger so I don't have to worry about them snapping.
I would like to spend around 150-200 if possible I don't really know much about performance axles or good brands

For $150-$200, you aren't going to be getting any good, new aftermarket axles. DSS (Driveshaft Shop) makes great products, but you are going to have to raise your budget. But you do get what you pay for. You could always get reman axles. Some places may even have a warranty on them.
yup, i use them in my 500hp turbo car as well as my all motor lsvtec. every so often one of them gets a bit worn and will wobble/vibrate so i swap it out for a new one. long live the lifetime warranty.
honestly its probably best to have the axle be the weakest link in the drivetrain so that way it will break before something inside the tranny

One name only Mike @ Insane shafts guy is making some superb stuff.
And the service is just out of this world.
Get axles that take u a long way, not restricting the power u make.... and most of all peace of mind.

stock, and preload when launching... they broke on the dyno because it was old.... I would replace both as the other one maybe on its way out. Lifetime warranty stock one's are you best bet
axle boot is nothing though, if the CV's are good, just replace the boot

I don't even know what I have that's the thing. they don't vibrate which is good but I have no idea what type of axles they are.
guy said they from les schwab but who knows they might be some ebay crap
supposedly they re only 3 years old and my car is not lowered that much

be careful with the advance auto axles. i think they might be "limited lifetime warranty" which i believe means you can get them replaced once. autozone are still lifetime warranty ive been going strong getting new ones from a set i bought in the late 2000's. plus come on, if u have a rewards card from autozone its the bomb. 20 bucks back after 5 purchases of 20 dollars or more. sweet
my friend was doing the autzone warranty thing he would break the every so often. now the last time he went in there was a note on his account that said no more axles for him and to just give him his money back. so he got free axles for years but not hes doing the same thing to oreillys lol
Im trying out OEM K Series axles with Karcept Hubs in my B Series turboed Integra. So far so good, everything was really easy to install. Havent been able to test them out but have heard good things from them. I think the fastest time on them is a low 9 i beleive.
220-240whp though...youll be fine with any sort of axle. Ran O-Reilly Autoparts axles last year at 560/405 and was just fine on the streets. Car doesnt see much of the track.
