last week my dumbass opened the radiator cap while engine was hot so i can put in some coolant because it was running real low but of course the cap has pressure and didnt open it all the way so i close it and just poured coolant into the reserve tank, ever since then when i accelerate the car pulls and RPM needle jumps high and then goes back down, car jerks kinda like if your out of gas. i notice that most of the time the idle is at about 100-200 RPM which is real low and then there's times where its back up to 700-800. My worry is that air got into the motor when i opened the cap but im not sure. as any know experienced this before?

 

Bleed the cooling system and go from there.

 

Try bleeding the system. Search for how it's done. After that, we'll find out the actual problem.
