Default obd0 CEL codes

ok, so i need to dermine if i have a code 1 and 3 or a code 13.

when i turn my key to "on" CEL never goes off(stays on after main relay cycles). ecu flashes this

i can start the car, CEL stays on and ecu does this

this is driving me nuts, all this happened after i swapped the first obd0 b16(started knocking), and dropped another b16 in using all same sensors and bits off original engine. no CEL before, car ran great till it started knocking due to wrong size rod bearing. (previous owners fault.)

So,
Code 1 would be the Oxygen Sensor, the primary one.
Code 3 would be MAP Sensor.

so, if it happened to be code 13
that would be BARO sensor. ( Atmospheric Pressure)

All of those could be bad or defective circuits or a bad sensor

What eCU is that?
This is important. Only a few OBD0 ECUs do long-short blinks.

It might be code
10 and code 3
rather than 1 and 3

are you sure that it is a PM6 ECU? - the cover doesn't look like the PM6 - looks like a PW0 or PR3

10 - Intake air temp sensor
3 - MAP

Make sure you don't have plugs swapped or unplugged.

so im assuming it is throwing a code 10 when the car is not running is due to no connection to iat? Then when the car has started it is throwing the map sensor out of wack, due to it not reading correctly because of no iat reading. I have replaced both sensors with ones off of a running car and no difference so im guessing in the engine removal and re-install i broke a wire somewhere to the iat. cause i have tried while the car was running unplugging sensors, too see if anything makes a difference. When i unplug the iat nothing changes.

You are on to something!
Chase down the wiring issue on the IAT.

i know there is 2 wires on the iat plug. i was looking at the ecu pinout and only seen one wire for the iat. according to the diagram(if it correct) C5 red/yellow is the ait sensor wire. so what is the 2nd wire on the connector? im going to try tonight to make it over there and run new wire from the connector to the ecu pigtail and see what happens.

Most likely it's a ground, but make sure!

the other wire (green/white) is a ground - the green/white connects to a lot of the other sensors like PA, TW, etc. and eventually ends up at ECU pin C12
