1990 honda accord core support?
I have a 90 accord ex sedan m/t I'm not extremely knowledgable about mechanics but I'm getting better as I replace and fix problems with my car. I hit a deer a couple days ago and it has mangled the top of my core support on the driversside where the headlight used to b if I pull the core support of someone told me my frame may not stay aligned is this true even tho my bumper was fine and the bottom half of the core support appears uneffected?
Post up some pics of the damage. Sometimes the bends and distortion can be fixed with a few basic tools. Such as a set of chains/toe strap, a come-a-long/ratchet strap, hammer and dolly. If it is really trashed then there are three parts to the core support. You can drill out the spot welds and replace each part separately.
You can't just remove the part(s) and not replace them..... They are the core framework for the radiator, fender, headlight, bumper and hood.
