My 1992 Honda accord was running great until I decided to fix the ac leak I had. Now when the ac is on it seems like its to much of a an electrical load that eventually kills battery and power too engine. Before battery dies everything electrical acts prosessed rpms and speedometer jumps up and down radio shuts off thru engine is still running. where do I start? Please help I hate this Texas heat!

 

What is the idle rpm when the ac is on?

Can you measure the voltage of the alt when the ac is on?

 

Had the alt checked turned out it was going out changed it out. The RPMs jumped from 650-1000 before I changed it out
