Default EX vs DX engine harness (DX car)

okay, so I recently purchased a DX hatch 93' that had a d16z6 in it but the idiots were still running the D15 ecu and there are no vtec wires run. he blew a hole in the side of the block and I picked up another Z6 with the engine harness attached,

can I just plug and play the EX harness, only difference im aware of is the vtec wires, if everything else plugs fine can I just run the wires from the strut tower connection? or are the harnesses different pin outs?

Use the harness in the car. Run your VTEC wires. Look up how to do it.

either route with the harness you will have to wire and add pin to the ecu harness so it up to you just make sure to use a p28 instead of that d15 ecu.

yes, I have a p28, I was hoping to use the Z6 harness that runs from the strut tower so I wouldn't have to run the wires from the solenoid, will the Z6 main connections plug into the DX

It's not that hard. Look up how it's done.

I know it's not hard, I've wired in a z6 to an ef hatch
But the wires always look like ****. The z6 has them ran to the tower and I would rather run the wire from the tower to the ecu if everything else won't have to be repinned , sorry if didn't make that clear in the first post thanks
