ok so i want to know which would be better for tuning ? and what are their top speed (stock)...i seen a lot of race where they were both stocks and the b16a2 would get in front in the d16z6 and in the end the d16z6 would win so i dont know which of them is really the best in terms of which is faster...

 

Twin cam always has more potential all motor. SOHC is for efficiency. Pair the B16 with the right gears= win. Or turbo the sohc= bang for the buck.

This thread is pretty pointless. Transmission play an important role here as well as the vehicle the engine is in.

This kind of seems like bench racing, which is not allowed.

 

well afaik the FD of the z6 is longer but as for power b16>z6 but a b18 is a step up again than a TQ'less b16. still a pointless thread as you easily could have searched this stuff up.

 

so if i understood correctly the faster one would be the b16a2 ?
