Default Precision injector flow test results

Hey I'm looking for someone to check out my results I recently had these tested due to cracking some ring lands. Now I've burnt out another ring after having these cleaned. It might be a bad idea to use these but numbers don't lie they did an average of 650cc's which meets my needs. They are low impedance, precision told me they are 680cc

That's fine. Those 680cc are typical flow rates for Delphi injectors that Precision uses.

I'm burning out cylinders with those lower reading ones it could be a fluke tho and a tuning issue. It's not like they're maxed out so I could be paranoid.

Tuning issue, ignition issue... But it it's not the injector

Thanks man. Who knows I put a pretty abused b16 in the car but had 175 across. Now she's got 100 in #2. Again tho 300+whp 220 tq... Way to much IMO but everyone says its a walk on the beach.

B18c jdm on maybe 9-10 psi next. New tuner

or just build the b16 properly with upgraded internal parts with a competent engine builder. No need for "JDM" anything. That would be the most efficient route.

It's nearly $4000. The b18c is my spare dd engine going to drop an ls or b20 to replace it and boost the Gsr to a safe level. If I blew a built motor id have to abandon Hondas and be a total loss of savings. I was happy with the eBay set up but simply figured it could handle more. Costed a fair bit to make 50-60 more hp for a week at a time without issues

If its tuned and assembled correctly, you won't have a blown built motor, unless YOU blew it up...

You're making a lot of incorrect assumptions here, but do as you will. If you've got the other stuff already lying around, go ahead.

I know what you're saying. And u know my attitude :p I got a low compression b16, 2 spare heads, and a Gsr swap. I'm tempted to just do an lsvtec also,

Who knows... The Honda bug kinda ***** off after a while. The thing with the tune was the afr were rich but good 11.2:1 and the plugs not one spec of detonation. Which makes me very confused. I can only determine the old rings gave way as the power was too much and came on too hard?

If I'm smart ill go piston and rod block...next option is the gsr next option is a newly
Built lsv with all the arp, cometic ****,who knows

Ummm.. No. Your tune was not good (11.2 is PIG RICH) and you more than likely screwed up the piston rings.

AND, HERE WE GO..you're doing it again with the cometic stuff with a GS-R block in which ARPs won't make a difference.

The "bug" ***** off because you keep doing stuff like this each time, trying to cut corners again... Maybe it is time to stop.

11.2:1 is PIG rich? I didnt think there was a problem as long as you were above 10.5 and under 12.0 generally

Didnt think 11.2 would be a problem

Depends on power level. Running rich is to keep cylinder temps low. Driving around town not making much power and running rich is a bad thing.

11.2 or so is just fat it's fine lol. I raced and beat up the car all last night even with the fkd compression. It just sucks the crank case pressure is really bad! The b16 won't die tho so I'm tuning it to the max as it is. Then getting a highly sought after tuner once the gsr is swapped. Not sure what corners I cut lol if I posted the dyno sheet u wouldn't say I tuned it all fucked up and it's ****... I Donno why the rings went possible 230wtq coming on hard as hell. 260tq+ tq on the flywheel and on a stock b16 200,000 mile piston? That's no cake walk lol

Okie dokie... I'm just going to let you continue to believe these ideas.. I was at over 280whp and 240ft/lbs of torque on over 9-10psi over 14 years ago on WAY older technology with 150K+ miles on the block and we NEVER had a problem like you're experiencing, BECAUSE WE DIDN"T RUN THAT RICH .

One thing I've always learned this game, regardless of car make, model or use. If you fail to plan..... Plan to fail.

Have fun.

Who the **** would tune to 11.2? I'm amazed you're not just washing rings randomly

Stop being a cheap **** and cutting corners. Or at least stop posting about when **** goes wrong and you don't know why because you cheap out. ..

Building any car means money. Cars cost money. Quality parts cost even more..

You have to pay to play so maybe you shouldn't be modifying cars in the first place

And whoever did your injectors sure did skip a lot of checks of the injectors, remind me never to use them

i know right? it was a last minute thing at the injector shop but i guess i only asked to have them flowed and cleaned...:s anywho i took away some fuel pressure at the base and its about 11.6 now on low boost 7.5psi . 11psi or so still will need adjusted in programming its like 10.9afr today. (keep in mind weather has gone from like 35c-40c then 15 at night then 20 the next day, crazy weather pattern & I ran about 7-8 hours on the set up over the last day and night im glad its reliable still. what target afr should I be shooting for 11.70's? & its been a couple weeks another compression check is in order to see if its going down it does burn some oil now
