My entire b-pipe is going to be dropped off next week at a shop that does ceramic coating. It will be done in flat black.

Would it be safe to do the muffler portion also?

Or would putting the muffler in a high heat oven destroy the internals of the system?

 

it's just steel wool in most cases which deals with hot exhaust gasses on a daily basses imo you'll be fine to do the muffler.
