Build JDM front - what do i need?
The JDM front looks bad ***, imo:
How to switch from my standard look to JDM? What do i need? New lights, new front bumper, what else? How hard is it? Any how to's on the net?

I had to get hood, fenders, bumper, lip, side markers, radiator support, hood latch and something else having to do with the hood, can't remember though.
you need about 5k for an ACCEPTABLE OEM metal conversion installed and painted and all that. you wont be able to do this yourself, unless you have access to a full autobody shop.
by the way the pic your lookgin at is the mugen jdm front so that will cost you about 4200 I think just for parts =/ but yea it looks tight as frick.. oh I think the 4200 is without HID also. Man.. how much u think you can get a JDm front off a wreck in japan and ship it here for?

Fit the parts to the car, paint job, etc. is not the problem... cash would be problem #1... is there any complete JDM style kits with all needed parts? If yes, where can i get this from?

$5000???!!! I think that's over priced unless all items are brand new in the
box with HID. But I wouldn't see why you would want new body parts
as long as used parts are in good condition.
I got mine for...
$1800 OEM JDM ITR front end w/lip (used 98 and up spec)
$700 install and paint
$2500 total cost. PM me if you're interested.

$700 for paint? Thats a steal...where are you located?
What other misc brackets are included in the kit? Hood, fenders, rad support, bumper, headlights, 90-93 Integra latch...are there a ton of misc bolts/brackets or does everything plug up like legos?

ok I knows theres fiberglass ones, but when u say sheetmetal oem front end, is the actual front bumper sheet metal? or poly? but yea 5K for new parts HID and a mugen front end sounds about right =/

In most JDM front conversions however only the front panels are painted and then around the side doors the paint is blended into the old paint. You wind up with a car with two shades of its color. You might not want this. Many bodyshops don't always do a good job, and may match your paint very poorly.
The costs can also run a bit out of control. Budget more than what you're quoted on. In many kits you don't really get everything you need b/c the sellers will claim that "you can get that stuff locally." For instance you'll need a 90-93 Integra latch cable for the hood. That will set you back maybe $35. If you want to hook the headlights up the stock way you'll need JDM wiring harnesses. Shipping the parts to you can cost around $300.
Generally speaking many autobody shops do not do good work. If you get a cheap price you'll know where they'll cut corners: on your car. You might wind up with weak sloppy welds, unpainted areas of the radiator support. You generally pay for what you get. Just some things to think about.
Btw, the radiator support is not like Legos. You'll need a spot weld drilling bit to remove the USDM radiator support and a spotwelder to weld the new one on.

Now it's time to safe some cash...
i agree with natadekoko... my front was done by a body shop referred to by a friend who said "they do good paint jobs" well i went their got it done... took longer then what they stated too... it turned out looking fair in my opinon... honestly go look around for a body shop... look at their work... and see if it meets up to your standards.. is my best opinion for when it comes down to getting it painted

The OEM front end includes, hood fenders, headlights, rad support, bumper (AND LIP!) latch. Everything is OEM and will bolt up straight. The body shop will weld
the rad. support and paint.
Does anyone have pictures of the
---JDM ITR BUMPER COVER MOUNTING BRACE
---JDM ITR BUMPER COVER SLIDE ASSEMBLY
I know the mounting brace hold up the bumper, but what is the slide assembly?

I did mine when I wrecked it, Just the conversion part of the bill (the whole bill minus frame straightening, radiator, ac condensor etc...) was $5500.00
I bought non-Honda HID's for $500.00 and figured out the wiring myself. I bought the US ITR lip at my cost (I work for Acura) for $250.
Don't go cheap on this, make sure they blend the doors too.
It is worth the $$$$
