Default gas pedal stick just a little

I had to remove my gas pedal to install (screw on) pedal cover... I didn y touch anything else. Now if i press the pedal just a little (1/4 inch, 2000rpm) it stay there, it dosen t come back like it should. it s like if the cable wasen t pulling enough on the pedal... Tje only adjusent I know is near the bracket on the intake... But from what I understand this adjustment is for tb opening... Is there any other ajusment so it would tighting up the cable where the cable attach to the gas pedal?

I found cleaning out the throttle body with a little cleaner helped when I had a sticky/hesitant pedal
