whats up guys and girls? first post ever in the many years i have been lurking on here. I'll make it quick: 2000 civic 3dr dx upgrading the fog lights from h3 halogen to h3 hid, ran into a snag at this part. i know the red goes into that blue one right? but what to do with the black one? help would be appreciated

well what did you do to get them to work, in case someone else with the same problem comes across this thread

 

oh duh, my bad! black was actually an extra wire as weird as it sounds. each HID has a power and a ground. red being power and black ground. so 3 grounds in total, one from the harness and one on each bulb. but i dont think you need the ones from the bulb i tested it and seems like the harness one is enough

 

doesn't matter anyways. lights are per manufactures specs. they're different wire setups per light USUALLY
