1994 civic d16z6. Swap help!!

I got a blown d16z6 engine I'm looking for any info
About what kind of engine I can swap in Thier.
Budget is 1000-2000$

What are your goals for this car? Just swapping an engine requires many things. If you stay D-series you can swap in a D15 and not change your trans. If you go B F, H series then you're looking at not just changing the engine, but the transmission, the axles, the mounts, etc etc etc.
