Wait... What? a man wierd problem
Car: 1991 Honda Civic HB Automatic
Car was bought three days ago was running fine when it was first seen. Bought the car and drove it home... 30 minutes into the drive car turns off on the highway pull over. had to wait couple minutes and car started back up again did it twice in a 1 hour trip.
well this morning I started the car up. cold she ran good was It idle you felt a vibration so I started taking the spark plus out to see the conditions of them and turns out 3 of them had were wet with oil. clean them up put them back in and started the car. but car wont start now it just cranks fast but no start
I press the gas and crank it maybe it was flooded but nothing. car just wont start now.
has any one had this issue before?

"wet with oil"
the top part or the actual area where the spark occurs?
Is the check engine light lit up on your dash?
Guessing ignitor or a loose ground since it stalls out and starts right back up.

You are correct. You have oil leaking into the spark plug tubes wiping out your spark. Get some new seals and clean everything up, put some new plugs in if you want and it should run fine.
OK I did full tune up on the car spark plugs, wires cap, rotor, gas filter fix the oil leak that the valve cover had into the spark plugs and nothing car still does the same thing.
no my other option is a ECU or Distributor any other Ideas what this problem can be?

I also vote coil, my daughter 88 sedan did this and I had an old coil I put in
starts every time. If the coil is good next would be the igniter, harder to find
and expensive.

no one will believe this and its probably not the issue but if the egr control fuse is out or in your case possibly blown your car wont start. ******* crazy but its true. my 89 had that problem but idt 91s have egr or onnly automatics do
Like a guy mentioned earlier, check the main relay under the dash on the far left. If you can turn your ignition where the acc. is on and listen for the fuel pump to buzz, it may not be the main relay.
There is spark and there is fuel car starts and idles fine with no issues... You drive the car couple blocks down and she would turn off and not start again until you wait about a minute ir so. So she is gerting fuel and spark seem like when somenting over heats it makes the car turn off
