Going to start a Mini Me Swap A6 Block and Z6 Head.
Since i cant manage to find my A6 Head anywheres.

Is this full list correct?
1.Z6 Head gasket,Intake gasket,exhaust gasket
2.Timing belt?
3.valve cover gasket
4.RPM activated switch/VTEC Controller?
5.Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator?

Don't rig it with a VTEC controller/VTEC switch do it the right way and convert to OBD1 using a P28.

Remove the oil control orfice from the block before installing the head.
Use the z6 timing belt, a6 is too long. The z6 belt will be pretty tight and hard to install. Convert to obd-1 with a p28. I recommend a chipped ecu so you don't have to fuss around with the o2 sensors.
You will have to change the connectors to the distributor.
The a6 intake manifold will not install onto the z6 head. z6, y8 or aftermarket IM is your best bet. you can use the matching throttle body and eliminate the firewall mounted map and purge.
use a6 injectors to avoid removing the resistor box.
FPR is not necessary.
compression will be raised by about 1 point, i recommend using 91 or 93 octane gasoline.
Order OEM headgasket for a y8, they are exactly the same and quite a bit cheaper than the z6 hg.

don't use a z6 belt, use the proper fitting belt mentioned here:

http://www.d-series.org/forums/engin...105-tooth.html

it is the proper fitting 105 tooth belt, SLIGHTLY smaller in width, but works perfect, it's what i'm using.

you can run a stock p28 no problem, the jumper harness from any obd0-obd1 conversion harness will provide the wiring for a 4 wire o2 sensor, i'm running an ebay harness and it had all four wires needed. I agree on the higher fuel.
a6 manifold will bolt to the z6 head, same exact bolt pattern, but i would recommend atleast a z6 or a y8 manual.
dizzy plugs will have to be changed, or a conversion harness can be purchased/made. if you're factory mpfi just re use the a6 injectors and resistor box, if you're converting to mpfi might as well use obd1 injectors, but both will work the same.
remove the oil control orifice from the block
also, make sure you solder any wires you ad, don't just wrap the wires in electrical tape.
order arp head studs, cost a little more and are much less of a headache than stock head bolts for not much more money.
