i have a crx with a stock b15 .. over the years i have thought now and then about putting money into it but honestly its not worth it...
A junkyard head is probably a good deal if its clean

Most guys i see the minimum is a b16 for building but I would never invest that much money in that conversion because its not a dramatic improvement..

You are better off looking for a b18 minimum or a b20 to start with and pulling it out of a wreck that has all the electronics and parts you need and then order new engine mounts and the other necessities

That should give you a 200 hp car you can depend on with a little work and a base to build something much better..

Hey you paid $100 .. right

But honestly after looking at costs over the past few years you are honestly better to find someone that has already completed a conversion in a model car that you want..

You will save a lot of money and stress buying a ugly conversion car that runs and can be driven then cleaning it up.
