prelude not starting. PICS and VIDEO
I bought the car in February. I start it from time to time. but its been sitting since I bought it. the gas has been 1 notch above empty for quite some time. I start it today just to get it going. Then this happens(video)
I go to the gas station to get 7$ worth of gas in my gas container, it does the same thing for 5 or 6 turns. I leave it for maybe 5min. try again as Im praying lol, then it fires up. No smoke, no bad idling. purrrrfect
Was it because of an an empty tank? Im wondering why it would turn over like it does in the video. weird. Ive never seen it do that. Its as if there is no power getting sent or something. And this is why I did a multi meter test. it all checks out.
So maybe it was due to barley any gas.
Car on. did this 1st. I did it with the car off again before i left for work because im paranoid as f*ck. It was 12.75. then with a full load minus the radio, it was 14.30

Either your battery is dead or one of the leads has a serious amount of corrosion creating a ton of resistance causing it to crank slowly, simple.
Lol. You guys are ignoring the multimeter test. The battery and alternator is fine.
The 1st 5 or 6 times I tried to start it, it would crank normally. This video is after trying all those times. Gets weak.

You need to test the battery with something that can apply a load, I bet if you took it somewhere that had an actual battery tester it would show it's bad. Also, of course the source voltage will be good right after the alternator has been charging it.
C'mon man, I do this **** every day, most batterys will have around 12V, doesn't mean they're good. The amount of current the battery puts out determines whether it's good or not.
Current (Amperes) is a measurement of the amount of electrons flowing in a circuit, voltage is just something that can be considered as electrical pressure to put it simply.
That battery can have 20V but if it only has 1amp in the circuit it isn't going to do ****.

Even battery testers dont always work either... my mothers 05' GMC envoy had a problem not starting and leaving her stranded randomly for weeks. The shop she took it to kept saying its a good battery after they tested it. The problem continued until I told her to just buy a new battery regardless of what the shop is saying. She did and it fixed the problem, never died on her again.
IMO just slap a new battery in there, couldnt hurt and its just one more thing off the list of things to go wrong in the near future.
If you have a batt charger/jumper box that plugs in give jumping it a try. If it fires up right away you know 100% thats the prob.

^They could have been dumb and tested it right after the car was driven up there in which case it would test good, you have to let them sit at times.
Many places will test the battery for free with a proper tester, I'd take it out of the car and drive it somewhere so it can't be charged from the drive. I'm so certain it's your battery I'm about willing to bet money on it.

Did it again today. I tested the battery after sitting for 8hrs, and it's at 12.75. With my multimeter. But the car was still not starting. Just this time is wasn't as bad. It was cranking normally, but not starting. After a few cranks, it started.
You have a bad battery, its not supposed to die like that. The more you use that bad battery you will eventually kill your alternator.

Dude, you're wasting so much time, you can have 12V all day but if there isn't enough amps it wont start the car, testing voltage only is pointless.

You're still only testing voltage. Besides, with the car on you aren't testing the battery even at the posts, you're testing alternator output.
Everyone is telling you it's the battery because it IS, you just don't wanna listen, you're thinking too much on some simple **** even the red neck lube techs at my job could figure out.
Voltage = electrical tension
Amperage = AMOUNT of electrons flowing, speed is always 99.9% speed of light
You can measure that voltage all day but it doesn't mean **** if the amperage is low. That can be a 200V battery but with only 20A flowing through it you won't be able to crank the car.

I have my integra with a fresh battery in it. why? This problem only happens sometimes.
yesterday it happened because i didnt let the fuel pump prime. i just cranked the key right away. But it didnt happen like the video. the video was from my trying to crank it over 10 times, then it got weak.
