Default cleaning the map sensor ?

i have a honda accord 98 4cylinders . can i clean the map sensor or replace it?

What's wrong with it? In my years of working on Honda's I have never had to clean a MAP sensor. Is it covered in oil or is the port clogged up?

That could be any number of things really. The MAP wouldn't be my first sensor to trouble shoot. Air, Fuel and Fire are things to look at.

Is this a completely stock engine? Can you give some history as to when the problem started? Had you done anything to the car..etc...etc.

When was the last time you had a complete tune up done on the car?

no the car had rebuilt engine.because my car was overheated and blown the head gasket. when the car go uphill , it suppose to change the shifts. but it's doesnt . when i press the pedal almost to the floor the engine start to change the shifts.
