1997 Honda Accord EX died while I was driving, now it won't start
I was driving and as I pulled into my drive way it just died.
Now it will not start.
I googled what it could be and the most common thing I seen was the main relay switch or the ignition control module.
So I replaced both of those.
My transmission has been rebuilt.
I have a brand new battery.
Brand new spark plugs.
Replaced the rotor bug in the distributor, as well as the distributor cap.
I don't know what else it could be.
It wants to start but it just is not getting enough spark to turn over all of the way.
Somebody please help?

You mentioned that it's not getting enough spark to turn over all the way, do you mean that the motor is having problems turning over, or that it's turning over but not catching (ignition)?
Have you verified that it's getting fuel as well?

It's turning over but not catching, a mechanic I talked to said something about it being the ignition coil, or my cam shaft.
But when I took my distributor to Advanced Auto Parts the guy told me that my coil was fine but tested the ignition control module and told me it tested red and needed replacing.
I also read somewhere that if while I'm turning the key and can smell fumes that I am getting fuel, is that correct?

I'm replacing the coil right now regardless of whether they said it was fine or not, I had a mechanic come out and advised me that that part can be tested.
The guy at Advanced did not test my coil, only looked at it.
So maybe this will help?
If not, I will post again.
