HELP Rustoleum Undercoating wont dry (LAME)!!!
I just sprayed rustoleum undercoating in luckly only one fender well because its not drying. I sprayed it sunday mid day and its still really sticky in about half of the wheel well, all of the cracks of course, so how can i get this crap off without ruining all the hard work ive done to the rest of the bay, oposite side of the metal (IE no heat). luckly under that rustoleum is Chassis saver (similar to POR15) which i had let fully cure and is very strong against solvents.
So anyone delt with this?
What would be my best bet for removal that wont just make a bigger mess of things?
Should i just start going at it with different solvents till i find one that works?

I have used that stuff before, I think it took it like a month to cure and it was still somewhat soft. You can let it cure up or scape it off with a paint scraper. I sprayed it in 100+ deg weather and thats how long it took to cure.
I used it in a my truck that I do hunting and 4 wheeling in so it wasent great but to fully harden it took like a year. I sprayed it, and let it sit over the winter till it was time to get in the mts. Even after a year it was alittle soft!

well im still getting the car put back together and applying this crap was going to be my last step before reasembling all the suspension, but now ive got to get that stuff off, it would be covered with sand and road grime immediatly if i left it on there and drove around, the roads here are pretty bad and really dirty.
fast dry rubberized undercoating won't do that. most cheaper undercoating isn't made to cure and if it does it can fall off. the best stuff is fusor 805 but that's expensive and the spaygun is pricey also
try to find it in a spray can though

Yea you can have some issue's with that undercoating, did you let it fully dry after each coat? If it does not have a chance to dry between coats it will take longer to cure and yea i have heard cases of weeks for it to dry :/
No i didnt let it dry between coats, and me being all knowing didnt read directions and sprayed it on heavy as s**t too, I tryed to take as much off as i could with acetone and a rag, the heavy areas came off pretty good but everywere else wasnt budging. unfortunatly everything is still really sticky aswell.
