Changing of 06 TL A/T Front Rotors
Good Morning!
I am planning on changing the Front Rotors and pads this afternoon and I have a question.
I was told by the mechanic shop here in the town that the retaining screws are NOT required when reinstalling the new rotors.
Of course, I was in disbelief and have decided to do them myself.
But the question remains, was he right?

All they do is hold the rotor in place when you have the caliper bracket off or when you have the wheel removed. They are not necessary but I'd put them back on lightly.
