Ok, I'm looking at getting a carbon hood from fiberimages, but should I go for a normal grey/black, or colored so it matches the car?

alot of people will tell you that carbon fiber isn't for the looks and that it should be painted. I think either will look good. I wouldn't mind seeing the colored carbon fiber on a car though, what color is you car.

 

its in the shop getting a nice new coat of lamborghini orange (kind of a orange/gold pearl)

They do an orange/black hood, but not sure! Might be just too orange.

I would love for it to be for eformance really, but over here in the UK, do anything to your engine and the insurance company will **** you! Especially if your yound like me!

I'd just get a black one, and either leave it as-is or paint it.

I don't think the lambo orange would match up well with the cf orange/black. It'd be a little off. But, of course, that's my opinion; it's your car.

 

I didnt think the orange would go so well either, it would just be too much in yer face!
I would rather my insurance comapny didnt give a ****, as I'm paying £1700 (about $2600 for a year!), and thats on a standard 1.4i at the moment!!
