Selling my B18B1 which had the CSS cylinder support system insert machined into the block, capable of 500whp. Im including the crank shaft which is in excellent condition and the OEM pistons and rods. It is unfinished so that you can use whatever piston you choose, and needs to be decked.

CSS is a whole lot more than just a block guard, converting the block to closed deck increases its potential by leaps and bounds. They have cars running 500+whp on blocks with just the CSS system.

 

Css is still considered a block guard.. its a guard pressed in around the stock sleeves. Just a purposeful one. Stock sleeves have held way past 500 for many people. Css to me is how blockguard ahould have been.

 

I agree. I didnt list it as a block guard because it gives the wrong impression about how it is done.

If im not mistaken they have a car pushing around 700 or 800 whp. This is an awesome product. The css is definitely the way to go on a budget turbo build. Plus you cant go wrong with a warranty of 1 year on 500hp.
