I noticed this issue on a b16 ctr trans the fluid has 500km on it and comes out dark grey almost sparkling and watery with some gold tint. i can hear something inside the trans at idle turning not too loud with my ear near it

i changed the fluid twice same result. the trans shifts great any rpm however and is being used.

its an lsd trans i need help id'ing what could cause that if anyone has experience! its a shame to go to waste its a great piece

 

The fluid was probably never changed previous to you having the transmission. The magnet is more than likely very dirty and contaminating the new fluids and/or being that it is lsd, there is more places for contamination to hide in between the clutches versus a conventional open differential.
