So i have a 91 Crx that i just purchased.. and the PO has some ghetto *** seats just chilling in there no rails or anything.. they are just sitting on the ground and i was browsing the forums.. but i couldnt find a list saying that said these seats will work and these seats wont work.. anyone have any imput?

Will 91 Civic Hatch seats,rails/pan whatever you wana call it work in the CRX Dx/Si?
or any 91 Honda work?

 

I'm looking for something i can just drop in. its not for looks or shows, just so my buddy can deliver pizza's instead of cruising his V8 Impala.

 

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but only crx rails/seats drop in w/o modification. There are quite a few threads on what "kinda" works just Google it, I think prelude and integra seats will line up 3 holes along with some civic seats.

Another thing i needed to ask was.. If i had the original seats rails.. would any other seats just drop in on the rails. or gota be the crx seats too?

90-91 crx seats and rails are the only thing that fit correctly. Other seats can be made to work, some without doing a pan swap depending on the mounting holes.
I was able to mount sparco seats on the stock rails, but it requires some spacers as the stock seat mounting holes have height differences (not flat).

 

I managed to find a guy on craigslist who is junking out 2 Crx and he is letting me grab parts off it before he take ems to the junkyard, So no modification needed.
But thanks so much for the help.. If this guy blows me off, im probs just going to make something work.
