you don't think my 'lazy butt' tried google? too much time on my hands? just for the record, my 'lazy butt' was up at 5:30 am to go to work for a full 10 hour shift in the oilfield, and then came home, pulled and disassembled the head to my motor, pulled the oilpan off, disassembled the bottom end leaving only the crankshaft, then in ghetto fashion, pulled the motor out of my car (leaving the transmission in the car) (hence my original question). have gotten the crank out, and am in the process of taking off the odds and ends remaining on the block. Its now 10:30pm, im pushing 17 hours of my day actually doing something. hows that for having 'too much time on my hands' and being a 'lazy ***' ? what have you done with yours?

in all truth, i was in the middle of doing it, had 4 undone , was having a hell of a time, thought 'hmm, maybe someone here knows' so i asked, after, of course googling, to which all i find is 'walkthroughs' consisting of 'now undo the bolts holding the transmission and motor together' which, btw, they never gave a count, plus already having the motor and tranny out of the vehicle where its easy as **** to see. whereas, im doing it with the **** on the engine bay, where its not so easy to see everything. but, didn't get a reply in the time i smoked my cigarette, so i went back to it, found the last inconspicuous bolt, and got my block out. so, thanks for the replies anyway, no need for douSchbaggery when someone asks a simple question.

Sounds like you could use a service manual - easy to find with a brief search.
