I have a 94 EG Hatch with a D15b7 and im going to be swapping the head for a D16y8 vtec head. any advice on the process and what i should get. Also which vtec solenoid, ECU and head gasket should i get? and any other parts i should get?

 

Use the b7 distributor and injectors in the y8 head.

 

y8 head gasket.. make sure to pull the plug in the middle of the block before putting that vtec on .. or u wont have vtec...

 

any recommendations as to what ECU i should get? i heard Hondata is my best bet

 

depends on your budget and if u plan to be in for the long haul or just do lil bolt ons... if ur just doing bolt ons and no boost I recommend getting a chipped p28 with a basemap which would be cheaper....hondata is the best one to get though....
