Lower Control arm bushings? confusion
OK i have a 94 civic hatchback. It has 2001 integra GS-R full brake system front and rear. My civic is in need of lower control arm bushing really bad. From what I see my ES bushings are in crap condition and i have more than 1/4" play in them.
here is the problem. I cannot recall what LCA's i have. it has been 5 years since i did the brake swap. so heres the issue... I found the part numbers and they are different.. a 94 hatchback and a integra has different numbers for the bushings i need. Does anyone know if these jokers interchange or is there a difference in size..whats goin on?
here is the link for the civic part number.. it is image reference #7 51392-sr3-024

just wanna say i am most likely going to replace all the control arm bushing while i am at it so i really need to know if i need integra or civic bushings.
I think there the same.my guess is you didn't change te front lower arm when you did the brake swap. The reason your getting two different part numbers is cause your looking at two different dealers. To really see I there's a difference I would look at energy suspension site and see if there bushings are for both cars.
I know the rear lca's bushings are slightly larger than civics. Even though the blox package said 92-95civ/94-01 teg, they didn't fit. The OD was too small. Wish I could help w/fronts- I haven't changed mine yet.
The one that fit I got from partsgeek- it was oem honda package, so I could have probably saved a few bucks...at least it fits now

But i must say the acura oem part number is different than hondas number and my friend at honda said they are different for sure but there is no specs listed so we do not know what exactly is different about them but i need to know what to order..
there a reason why there are 2 numbers..
Ill put money on the teg's control arm bushings being slightly larger (more weight than civic). I know for fact that's how it is in the back, so why wouldn't it be in front where the majority of weight is- I'm with you OP, they're going to be different
