I just recently purchased a 1993 Del sol Si. 160k . $1500. Had a bum wheel bearing and shitty tires. Also it sat for a year.


Started right up and runs great. Ive currently been dailying it while i turn my Ek hatch back to stock to sell it!



This is the day i brought it home.



The tires were **** and wouldnt hold air so i swapped some si wheels on it.




Car needs paint. 90% of the clear is gone and it has been sprayed by some shitty company, just didnt hold up. Plan to repsray it as soon as my ek sells. And after i source a 97 bumper



Not too long after i got it (one week) the wheel bearing felt so bad I had to put her down. I happen to have my ctr 5 lug swap i was going to throw on the ek still so i decided to throw that on The 5 lug has hawk hps pads, stainless lines all around, and every single bushing on the car minus the swaybar endlinks is now hardrace!




I had prelude wheels so threw them on. Havent seen many 5 lug del sols online so heres some pics






Plans include PAINT FIRST! Looking for a black with a gold pearl in it. Also still have my full gsr swap that I plan to rebuild and throw in at some point.


So yeah more updates to come!

Yes sir, as soon as my ek which is for sale sells, and i find a 96-97 bumper shell be off to paint. Only body work it really needs is a few tiny dents pulled and shell be ready. Having the same guy who painted my ek do this one as well, des really good work!

Some updates. Pulled my gsr from the ek and dropped the z6 in. Plan to rebuild this gsr but that will be after paint.






Picked up a set of tru hart LCAs. My buddy is a rep and got me a good deal. Truhart uses all hard race bushings in their
products and it looks to be a solid product!




And here is a shot of my girl from tonight. I have the sife skirt at my house haha came off jacking it up one day.

 

So what motor is in the Sol?

been a minute since an update here we go:

Threw my truhart stuff on, never posted it up. Really like this stuff, very stiff and the bottom entry adjusters on the fronts are genius.

Just needs coils and suspension is done for a moment.




Smooth sailing now :020:



Decided i was tired at looking at a dented up red fender. So i took 10 minutes and sprayed it black lol



Had to get a roller before I picked up a new set of shoes



Put my jdm one pieces in and got a new oe eg si lip at IA.



Oh and heres my paint






and now the best part, picked up a new set of wheels. Meister S1s





Some teasers of the wheels. Currently on illuminas and springs so coils will be in the future. need slowered but jjust a test fit.

In for this build, Also love seeing other sol builds :D Love the 5 lug conversion wish I did it but was too horny to buy wheels ahaha lovin the SIR rear garnish with the plate fillers too.
