warm A/C at idle 2006 CRV
I have an 06 crv that doesn't blow cold air at idle in 75*+ weather. If I rev to 2k rpm it starts to get cold. I did have it serviced at Honda to recharge and check for leaks, went back a second time but it wasn't very hot out (60 degrees) so the tech thought it was cold enough to not do anything about it. But at 75* or higher its warm air until the motor gets revved.
Does anyone have this problem or know how to debug this? I'm at a loss, the compressor kicks on like it should and both fans work....wtf

Has it been very humid there lately? Because high humidity plays a big part in it, the higher it is, it's not going to blow as cold, because it effects it a lot, so it could very well could be at all the proper levels.

Starting to get this issue as well.
Definitely worse when it is really hot outside, but if we are at a stop, you can feel the AC start to get warm. When accelerating from a stop, you can feel it get humid, and then it will start to get cool again. Works fine as long as we are moving…

Adding some RPM at a stand still change anything?
Acceleration, depending on engine load and rpm, can cause the AC clutch to be released. Frees up power and protects the compressor.

I have the same issue with my fg1 as cao, I just raise the rpm to 1500 if I'm sitting at a light. Still gets warm on acceleration from a stop though.
I havent check pressures yet. I just noticed this issue, and started to do some research to see if there was a common issue I can jump to address.
Both fans do work. If i raise my RPM to about 2-3K the air does start to get cooler. When I'm driving its definately colder. Not Ice cold like my work van is,
which leads me to think its maybe low on charge. The AC system since I owned the car for 9 years has not been serviced, topped off, nothing.
