Would anyone know if a S40 Gearbox will fit on a B16B?

No it doesn't.

 

^^ s40 is a d series transmission. b16b has to have a b series transmission.

Out of sheer curiosty....what s40 trans were you talking about? Out of those trans even with the shortest geared one, it would be worse than having a ls trans.

Sell it if you have it and look for a bseries trans

 

hey guys and thank you for the response.

I had a feeling that it wouldnt fit but I would rather be safe than sorry. I have for A D15Z4 and I want to upgrade to the B16B. This is going to be my first swap and from what Ive read it should be a rather straight forward swap.
