Default JDM H23A "Blue Top" DOHC VTEC Head Gasket

I've been looking all over the internet for this answer.

What head gasket do i use for this engine? I can never get a straight answer from a experienced person, usually people guess.

The bare block is identical to a H22a4 so just use a 97-01 Prelude head gasket. The bore is identical as well as it being open deck.

I got h22 head studs for my blue top and they are way too short.. I need some help with this ASAP.. Also, what belt do I run if I don't have AC or ps?

That is odd, are they ARP head studs? If so what part #? Any parts store can search for an alternator belt with a non-a/c car, and ps is its own belt.

208-4204 is what I have.. They are like 2 inches too short.. The bolts I pulled out are hour glasses and won't work again.. I'm getting extremely frustrated with it.. If anyone has the part number of the correct arp studs, I'd be extremely greatful

Its a obd2 open deck block with a pde head, nothing special about the "H23V" other then internals.

It should use the same head studs as every other H22 with a pde head.

Im pretty sure H23a/1 and f series studs are a different length. Maybe you bought H23a studs thinking that was what you needed.
